When deciding a career path so many years ago, I went with what made the most sense at the time. I loved science and the ocean so I attended Coastal Carolina University. After my first year, I realized this wasn’t for me. I was however obsessed with photography. I even had a darkroom set up in my bathroom. A year and a half later I transferred to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California. Brooks was a very small school nestled in the hills of Santa Barbara and Montecito. Most students that attended were from all over the world. During my time at Brooks I was given the opportunity to Intern with Annie Leibovitz in NYC. I was fortunate to experience things like the cover shoot of the November Issue of Vogue Magazine. After my time in NYC I returned to Santa Barbara and graduated with a BA in Advertising Photography.
I continue to train and improve my skills in photography through workshops. There is always something to learn to from others.
Family Life
I am blessed with three amazing kiddos. I am a soccer mom. All three of my kids play soccer year round. When I’m not in my studio, I’m most likely getting someone to a soccer practice or a soccer game.
