what to expect when we work together
Step Four
Let's Shoot
The studio is fully stocked with wipes, diapers, pacifiers, props, outfits and wraps. Relax and watch as I delicately pose your newborn. The studio is warm, dark and soothing so your little one is nice and sleepy. Before you arrive I make sure you are fully informed on how to best prep for the session so when you arrive I can ease baby out of the carrier and into a nice snug swaddle.
Step Five
The Reveal
After your newborn session, I carefully review all of the images to select the best ones, considering facial expressions, poses, lighting, sharpness, backgrounds, and overall appeal. We set a date and time to ether meet in person or over zoom for you to view the images from your session. Together we build your package and select your favorite images.
Step Six
Display Your Art
I believe in creating both timeless artwork for your home and providing digital files for archiving. Our carefully curated selection includes premium products, from keepsake albums to custom wall art displays that beautifully enhance any home decor. Each selected image is hand-edited to create a gallery of timeless newborn art. The heirloom quality of the products ensures that these cherished portraits will be treasured for generations to come.

Step two
Book Session
It’s best to schedule your newborn session within the first two weeks from birth while they are still in the squishy newborn stage. This stage goes by in the blink of an eye. Reach out as soon as possible to reserve your session. We can use your due date to hold the session and adjust the date and time after baby has arrived.

Let's Prep
During the booking process we set a date and time to either chat on the phone or meet over zoom for a pre-session consultation. You’re always welcome to come to the studio for the consultation but I totally get how busy life is.
Common Questions
It’s best to secure your newborn session as soon as possible. I simply use your due date to book the session and then after baby has arrived we can select an actual date and time that works best for you.
Getting out of the house with a newborn is a lot of work. I simply ask that you dress the baby in a button-up/zip-up sleeper. Please do not dress baby in a onsie or anything that goes over their head. Bring extra milk or plan to nurse baby while in the studio. If you forget anything, the studio is fully stock with the essentials.
The studio is located in Southern NH – Derry, NH.
Most of my client base are from the Boston Metro Area and Southern NH.
Yes, I always encourage that we include, mom, dad and siblings for a few quick pics. The parent poses go rather quickly, where as the sibling pics can take some time depending on the age of the siblings.
You can choose to include digital files in your final collection. You build your collection during the reveal. You are not pressured or required to buy specific products. We discuss what you hope to do with the pictures and build your collection.
No worries. It’s all about expectations. I expect your baby to cry, pee, poop, and spit up. I have lot’s of methods and ways to settle and soothe newborns. You can expect to come and relax while I gently work with your baby.
The session fee of $99 is due at the time of booking. This fee holds your session time slot and is then applied as a credit towards the custom collection we build at your reveal session. Collections start at $500. The average investment is $1500.
