Windham NH In-home Newborn Portrait

This session was done as an in-home Newborn Session in Windham NH. I packed up my gear along with my headbands, outfits and wraps to create a customized inhome newborn session. They had an adorable older sibling that I was happy to incorporate. With older siblings I will first evaluate their disposition to decide when is the best time to bring them into the session. Sometimes they need a little time to warm up to me and see me work with their new baby sister/brother before feeling comfortable enough to jump in for a picture. Other times they are my new best friend right off the bat. It all depends on the child and I’m more than happy and understanding to let them decide when to jump in for family and sibling pictures. I do however strongly advise that sessions that will be including other siblings, to take place in your home. In-studio sessions with siblings are best done when there is a plan in place for a parent or grandparent to take the sibling home once we have finished the family pictures. Otherwise, 3 hours in the studio is far too long for a toddler. My focus is to keep the sessions relaxed and stress free so baby stays relaxed throughout the session.
