Whether you’re searching for Boston newborn photography, in-home newborn sessions, or professional baby portraits, I’m here to create beautiful, heartfelt images that tell your family’s unique story.
As a Boston newborn photographer, I specialize in capturing those first precious days—tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and the warmth of your embrace—so you can hold onto them for a lifetime.
My approach is natural, timeless, and baby-led, ensuring a stress-free experience for both parents and little ones.
With over 20 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to capturing the precious early moments of life through newborn photography. Prior to earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Advertising Photography, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with Annie Leibovitz in NYC, which shaped my creative vision and attention to detail. Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds upon hundreds of babies, continually refining my craft to create timeless, heartfelt portraits. As a proud mom of three wonderfully busy and active kids, I understand how fleeting these early days are. My happy place is in the studio, where I pour my heart into crafting beautiful, artful images that families will cherish for a lifetime.
It's best to secure your newborn session as soon as possible. I simply use your dues date to book your session and then after baby has arrived we can select an actual date and time that works best for you.
Getting out of the house with a newborn is a lot of work. I simply ask that you dress baby in a button/zip-up sleeper. Please do not dress baby in a onsie or anything that goes over their head. Bring extra milk or plan to breastfeed baby while in the studio. If you forget diapers, wipes, pacifier or brush, I have extras. Plan to come and sit back and relax while I take over and care for your baby for the next few hours. You are always sitting right next me as I work with your baby.
I recommend we schedule the session to take place within the first two weeks from birth. Newborns tend to be less sleepy as they approach the two-week mark.
No worries. It's all about expectations. I expect your baby to cry, pee, poop, and spit-up. I have lots of methods and ways to settle newborns.
No, the two week mark for scheduling newborn sessions is not required for a successful session. I've successfully done newborn sessions up to 4 weeks of age. I do not recommend waiting that long, it's best to capture them while they are still in the newborn squishy, sleepy stage.
Siblings are always welcome in the session. I keep toys and snacks in the studio for the little ones. I have a play-rug that I roll out for them to sit and play on while we are focusing on baby.
